The Oral Biochemistry Laboratory was created in 1997, with the purpose of relating clinical and basic work, as well as awakening in students the appearance of young talents. As a line of research, the main focus is on the study of the relationship between diabetes-salivary glands and saliva. It is a well-equipped laboratory, accessible to undergraduate, postgraduate and research-interested students, and allows the development of research using Biochemical methodology as well as in other disciplines.
