The Laboratory of Emergency Medical Dentistry (LEME) was created in 2008 and its mission is to train undergraduate students in Dentistry in clinical situations of medical emergencies that may occur during dental care. LEME activities are guided by inter and transdisciplinarity, integration, transversality.

It is frequented by students from every year. It also supports the disciplines “Introduction to Medical Emergencies in Dentistry and Anesthesiology Applied to the Dental Clinic. The activities are weekly with groups of 8 to 12 students, lasting between 30 and 45 minutes at FOUSP. Some activities are performed at the Faculty of Law, the Institute of Biomedical Sciences and the University Hospital of USP.
